Origin ‘Player Appreciation Sale’, EA’s latest move in damage control

So in an effort to keep customers (and possibly bring back a lot of them that left), Origin is pulling a Steam sale cleverly disguised as a “Player Appreciation Sale” today with literally a couple hundred games marked down by a huge margin. Their catalog can be found at the Origin Store.

Here’s a quick snippet of what they’ve got on sale:

  • Battlefield 3 – 12$
  • Assassins Creed 3 – $35
  • Dead Space 3 – $30
  • Darksiders 2 – $18
  • Resident Evil 5 – $9.99

A lot of sequels there, don’t you think?

And don’t forget you also get a free game if you have a SimCity (2013) game activated, for those of you who didn’t know.

What do you say to describe a guy who only sleeps 4 days out of the week? Probably a lot but if you ever see an obscure story about some kind of food product, indie game or something that doesn't quite fit on this site, you can (almost) guarantee this guy wrote it. Whether or not he was awake while it was written is anybody's guess.
