Commander Shepard gets one last adventure in Mass Effect 3: Citadel, plus new multiplayer DLC
Just when you though Commander Shepard’s journey is over, BioWare will be releasing one last DLC adventure with the commander called Mass Effect 3: Citadel. It will be the last time you’ll get to play as Commander Shepard, and it will be sentimental. How sentimental? Just look at the above image and you’ll get the idea. To me, the ending for Mass Effect 3 was already frustrating, so I don’t know if I can handle sentimental.
In the single-player Citadel DLC, Commander Shepard is the target of an evil conspiracy. It’s up to him and his crew to find out what is happening through battles and discovery as we traverse the Citadel’s Wards to the top-secret Council Archives.
The most interesting part for me is the chance to rekindle romances from old flames and hanging out with your team again. If that’s not your thing, you can always gamble at the Citadel’s Silver Coast Casino, take your anger out at the Armax Combat Arena, or just relax at Shepard’s place on the Citadel. The ME3 ending really scarred me, so I’m hoping the DLC will help ease the pain.
Mass Effect 3: Citadel will be available on March 5th for the Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. It will cost $14.99 or 1200MS points.
If you want to connect online with other players, there will be a new multiplayer DLC called Mass Effect 3: Reckoning. The DLC will be available on February 26th and will be free until a year later. It includes 7 new weapons, new equipment and weapon mods.
