Excited for Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance? Heard the soundtrack?

Over the past 8 months or so, videos have been popping up on YouTube with multiple tracks extracted from demos of MGR:R, and I am super excited about this title. The game was originally announced back in 2009 under the title of Metal Gear Solid: Rising and was intended to act as an interquel between the events of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty and Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots. After production was taken over by Platinum Games, it has become a sequel to MGS:4 with one of the most anticipated soundtracks of 2013. Here are a few clips we’ve dug up and in HD too. Enjoy!

First up is the LQ-84I track. It’s played during the boss fight featured in the demo bundled with Zone of the Enders: HD Collection.

Next up is the infamous Metal Gear Ray boss fight track dubbed “Locked and Loaded”.

A more recent one to pop up is what’s been speculated as “Mistral’s Theme”.

Another recent track which hasn’t been attributed to any particular boss is “Blood Stained Sand” (Sorry, no HD).

Last but not least is the original trailer theme.

From what has been leaked so far, it seems like MGR:R will have one of the most badass Power Metal soundtracks of the year. Get hyped for next month!
