Dane DeHaan confirmed as Harry Osborne in Amazing Spider-Man 2

Marc Webb has confirmed that actor Dane DeHaan will be portraying Harry Osborne in the sequel to The Amazing Spider-Man on his Twitter today. If you haven’t heard of him, you should check him out in Chronicle, a found-footage superhero-inspired film. In that movie, he played a tortured teenager who stumbled upon the awesome power of telekinesis.

From Marc Webb’s Twitter:

“Meet Harry Osborn. So excited to have him on board. @danedehaan.”

Webb also mentioned that “Dane is an exciting and extraordinary young actor and he is a fantastic addition to our cast.”

Production is set to begin in early 2013 and the movie’s release is set for May 2, 2014.
