New Star Wars 1313 game leaked before E3

GameTrailers leaked earlier today that the next LucasArts game to be released will be called Star Wars 1313. Supposedly the announcement was to come through on Spike TV’s pre-E3 Game Trailers TV show. Many fans including myself were hoping that the announcement would be the long delayed and possibly cancelled Battlefront 3. Speculation is that the game will be based on Boba Fett as he has gone by the codename “CT-1313” in multiple previous instances.

The game is set to be a 3rd-person action/adventure game that takes place on a sub-level metropolis called Level 1313 on the planet Coruscant. Players will be unraveling a criminal conspiracy that has spread throughout the underworld of the planet. There will be no Force powers, so your character will be utilizing gadgets and human skills. There will also be a cover system, which might mirror Gears of War, and have platforming gameplay as well as playable cinematics.

LucasArts President Paul Meegan stated, “Star Wars 1313 dives into a part of the Star Wars mythos that we’ve always known existed, but never had a chance to visit.” There is no other info on the game as of yet, but the official Star Wars 1313 website is up and running. Stay tuned for upcoming E3 coverage for more news and updates.
