Darkstalkers 3 coming to PSN April 24th

Darkstalkers 3 is the next PlayStation Classic that is coming to the PlayStation Network on April 24th.

Darkstalkers 3 has a very unique fighting style and cast of characters that included demons, vampires, Frankenstein, werewolves and many more. One of the best fighting games of its time, it still has such a large fanbase, and it gave us characters like Felicia, Morrigan, Hsienko, Lilith and more.

The game is a direct port of the PlayStation 1 version, so there will be no changes and no online gameplay. They had only decided to bring over DarkStalkers (Vampire Chronicle in Japan) for Matching Service, which was a mash up of all the Darkstalkers characters. You were able to select their fighting styles, and included online mode.

Street Fighter producer Yoshinori Ono, gauged interest at San Diego Comic Con about possibly making a sequel, so this could be the first step to a Darkstalkers 4.

With how prices on the PSN are, this game will more than likely cost $5.99 when it releases.
