Bill Murray’s not interested in Ghostbusters 3 says Dan Aykroyd

In an interview with the Telegraph, Dan Aykroyd talks about Bill Murray’s interest in doing Ghostbusters 3…which is zero. It would be fun to see a third Ghostbusters movie with the original cast, but in the end I wouldn’t want it to end up like Indiana Jones: Kingdom of the Crystal Skulls.

“I honestly don’t know. At this point it’s in suspended animation. The studio, the director Ivan Reitman and Harold Ramis feel there must be a way to do it, but Bill Murray will not do the movie. He doesn’t want to be involved. He’s got six kids, houses all over America. He golfs in these tournaments where they pay him to turn up and have a laugh. He’s into this life and living it.”

Will the studio still go through with making the movie without him? I’m thinking a reboot is inevitable.

Bill Murray’s been through a lot.
