Medal of Honor: Warfighter multiplayer details

Just announced this week, there will be a new installment into the rebooted Medal of Honor franchise called, Medal of Honor: Warfighter. While the name is definitely not the most creative name, the game will hopefully be a solid follow up to the 2010 predecessor. Developer Danger Close returns but noticeably missing from the bill is Battlefield 3 developer DICE. For the first Medal of Honor, Danger Close created the singleplayer and DICE created the multiplayer. Fear not, Danger Close will be using DICE’s Frostbite 2 Engine for Warfighter and it has been said that it will be the latest version of the engine.

According to Official Xbox Magazine, players will be able to play as British Special Air-force, Australian SASR, German KSK, and the Polish Grom. There will also be a Hardcore Mode, similar to Call of Duty and there will be a Online Co-Op Multiplayer Mode as well. More than likely, many of the first games multiplayer modes will return like Team Assault(Team Deathmatch), Sector Control, Objective Raid and Combat Mission. No word yet on what classes will be in the Multiplayer. In the first MoH, players could choose from only 3 classes. Rifleman, Special Ops and Sniper.

While there is still no word yet on the storyline for the singleplayer campaign, it has been confirmed there will be a Co-Op campaign.
