Neil Gaiman and Todd McFarlane Ends Dispute

The two comic book giants have finally ended their dispute over Gaiman’s claim to characters in the Spawn universe. These two have been fighting for nearly a decade about which characters are owned by Todd McFarlane and which are owned by Neil Gaiman. For those not familiar with Spawn and its universe, Spawn is about a man who made a deal with the devil in order to see his wife one last time. The comic book was very popular in the mid ’90s to early 2000, but has recently dropped in success. If you haven’t yet, you should definitely check the comic book out. Neil Gaiman sued McFarlane for characters he created for the Spawn Universe. Characters such as Angela, Cogliostro, and Medieval Spawn.

As a fan of Spawn, I am glad this is finally settled. Both sides have been at this for a long time and I was worried it would never end. Hopefully, in the future they come together and do one last work as a team.
