LA’s Golden Apple Comic Book Store for Sale

Ever wanted your very own comic book store? Well if you been saving up big for a rainy day then this is your lucky day! Los Angeles’ landmark nerd mecca is up for sale on ebay for a “buy it now” price of $679,000. The store comes fully stocked with item well worth over $300,000. The store opened in the early seventies by Bill Liebowitz who passed away in 2004 and ownership transferred to his wife Sharon Liebowitz and their son Ryan Liebowitz. In 2009 their Northridge location was sold and now the family is looking to sell the Hollywood store.

Golden Apple Comics is an LA icon which has appeared in a number of movies and television shows. And on top of all that, publishers and studios call upon the store as an indicator of how sales patterns are flowing at the moment. A number of celebrities also count themselves as loyal customers to the store. The store also regularly hosts a number of comic book and celebrity events such as a KISS signing recently held. So if you have the funds to own a piece of Hollywood nerd culture then step right up and put your money where your mouth is!
