Silent Hill: Revelation 3D Finishes Shooting

As a fan of the Silent Hill series, I’m looking forward to Silent Hill: Revelation 3D. The reason why I love the series so much is that the main protagonists in the game aren’t your typical heroes. They are fathers, daughters, and husbands. Instead of having a trained soldier to fight monsters, we have regular average folks trying to save the day. These are characters that I can relate to.

Producer Don Carmody has confirmed that shooting for Revelation is finished. They are now working on sound and score and is talking to Lionsgate about release date. Carmody hopes to have the movie be released in late spring or early fall.

Synopsis – Starring Adelaide Clemens, Kit Harington, Radha Mitchell, Sean Bean, Deborah Kara Unger, Carrie-Anne Moss and Malcolm McDowell, the film was written and directed by Michael J. Bassett.

In “Revelation,” Heather Mason (Clemens) and her father have been on the run for years, always one step ahead of dangerous forces that she doesn’t fully understand. Now on the eve of her 18th birthday, plagued by terrifying nightmares and the disappearance of her father, Heather discovers she’s not who she thinks she is. The revelation leads her deeper into a demonic world that threatens to trap her in Silent Hill forever.
