Play Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 Early…and Get Banned! YAY!

There have been multiple reports that COD’s next cash cow has been mistakenly released early by some retailers and gamers are already playing online. Xbox Live Director of Policy and Enforcement, Stephen Toulouse is warning that anyone who is playing the game prior to release is “not authorized,” and that doing so “may impact your account.” Microsoft has actually changed their decision, stating that those who have made legitimate purchases for their game can play online, but those with pirated copies will be penalized. So not only were the games sold early, but they have been leaked online as well.

If you’re really antsy right now to play and are wishing you lived in an area that “accidentally” sold the games early, have no fear. There are copies that are currently being sold on Ebay, but beware, as they might cost you an arm and a leg, literally. One copy is currently on bid for $1725! What the &%@# are people thinking that they would actually pay that much? You must seriously be obnoxiously stupid that you can’t wait 5 days to pay the normal $60 like the rest of us. Well, thankfully there is stupid people out there and we do utterly enjoy taking their money.
