Long Beach Comic Con Gets John Carpenter, Seth Green, and Felicia Day

Long Beach Comic Con has recently announced that Seth Green and the Robot Chicken crew, John Carpenter, and Felicia Day and The Guild crew will be at Long Beach Comic Con, a comic convention being held on October 29th and 30th.

Seth Green and the rest of the Robot Chicken creative minds (Matthew Senreich, Tom Root, Breckin Meyer, Erik Weiner & Matt Beans) will be having a Robot Chicken panel on Saturday at 3pm. They’ll be discussing upcoming episodes of Season 5.

John Carpenter will be at LBCC on Saturday, October 29th, to sign preview issues of John Carpenter’s Asylum at the Storm King Productions booth (913). He will be joined by creators Sandy King and Thomas Ian Griffith. Colorist Jeff Balke will be in artist alley at tables 1105-1106. Carpenter is a cult legend who directed classics like Halloween, Escape from New York, and The Thing. He’ll also be signing non-comic book items, but you’ll need to purchase the signature voucher (limit 1 per person) at the Hero Initiative booth 213 before 4pm or while supplies last. The $5 will go towards donations.

And this one is for you Guild fans out there. The Guild creator/star Felicia Day, cast members Vincent Caso, Amy Okuda and Robin Thorsen, director Sean Becker and producer Kim Evey will be there on Saturday, October 29 for a panel, walking tour and screening.

“We do a lot of conventions during the year but we are especially excited to return to the real home of the fake ‘MegaGame-O-RamaCon’ at Long Beach Comic and Horror Con. It’s going to be a fun reunion and we hope fans can come down and be a part of it with us and many of the extras who, with the help of Phil and Martha and Comic Expo helped us make Season 5 look like the real thing. This is going to be quite a meta-experience for us,” said Kim Evey, Producer, The Guild.
