NECA Tour Reveals ‘Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City’ Figure

If you caught my Dragon*Con 2011 video, then you’d know I’m a big fan of Vector from the upcoming Capcom survival horror, Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, a third person squad-based shooter. Yeah, that’s a mouthful.

Figures.com had a chance to check out the NECA offices and was able to get the scoop that NECA will be working on a Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City figure(s).

On our tour, Trevor was working on an all-new license, which you heard here first: Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City. The game is a new direction for the zombie franchise starring squad-based mechanics. The figure being worked on is a slick soldier named Vector. Looking good!

Hell yeah Vector’s slick. His specialty is the art of stealth and he’s very efficient in close-quarters-combat. He’s Japanese and trained with Japanese masters to hone his martial arts skills. He requested to be trained under HUNK, leader of the U.S.S. Alpha team, and has impressed HUNK during battle.

We’re not sure yet whether the rest of the members from the U.S.S. Delta team, Lupo, Spectre, Beltway, Bertha, and Four Eyes, will be included, but I’ll be happy with just Vector.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City doesn’t have a release date yet, but we’re hoping for a Winter 2011/2012 release for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
