Last year’s event drew thousands of people along with their Scions to the parking lots of Knott’s Berry Farm in Buena Park, California. The event has been held yearly for the past 8 years and 2010 was the biggest one yet for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. The pouring success of 2010 actually won it a place in the Guinness World Record book for most Scion vehicles in a caravan, most toys collected in a day, and biggest Scion event in the world!

We attended the event and it was cool to see all the tricked out Scions. Xbox360’s, PS3’s, and Wii’s mounted inside some cars, one-of-a-kind paint jobs on others, and the convergence of Scion owners who were there to support the charity and have a good time is what it is all about. Local Los Angeles hip-hop radio station, Power 106FM, was there to support as well with a special guest appearance of Cali Swag District group – they taught Nerd Reactor how to Dougie!

Overall Scion Night 2010 was awesome. I think it was the best year so far so don’t miss out this year! If you or a friend owns a Scion and wants to check out the culture of NERDY car enthusiast then this is the place to be. Give a little to charity, get your scare factor on at Halloween Haunt, and enjoy the fun time you will have at the event.
