‘GhostBusters 3’ Spring 2012 Filming Begins

'Ghostbusters 3' Really A Go-Go For 2012

Latino Review has worked their investigative work, yet again! Not really. They have just been watching a little too much of The Dennis Miller Show. Dan Aykroyd has managed to stay in the lime light as much as Bill Murray. What’s the big freaking difference? Aykroyd has publicly announced the anticipated GhostBuster III film has “an excellent script” and should begin filming in Spring 2012.

Oh man. For one, we can all legitimately say that Murray is, if not,was the main contributing factor to the movie franchise. Sure we would all love to see new character development and a baton to passed on, sort of speak, but to honestly watch a GhostBuster III film without the big Murray head in it would be devastating. I mean, look at what Aykroyd had to say:

“My character, Ray, is now blind in one eye and can’t drive the Cadillac. He’s got a bad knee and can’t carry the packs. Egon is too large to get into the harness. We need young blood and that’s the promise. We’re gonna hand it to a new generation.”

But he goes on to add:

“‘Ghostbusters’ is bigger than any one component, although Billy was absolutely the lead and contributive to it in a massive way, as was the director and Harold [Ramis], myself and Sigourney [Weaver]. The concept is much larger than any individual role and the promise of ‘Ghostbusters 3’ is that we get to hand the equipment and the franchise down to new blood.”

Whatever may be the outcome, I will be in the movie theater with marshmallows, a green slushy, and screaming out “LORD VIGO”!
