Take That ‘Zumba Fitness’! ‘Deus Ex’ Tops UK Charts
Who knew a Brazilian exercise game would be so popular? Well, after being number one last week on the UK charts, it has tired itself out with Deus Ex: Human Revolution topping this week’s chart. Zumba Fitness is still doing well, with the game only being knocked down to the number two spot.
Human Revolution, however, was able to almost completely match UK sales of the second Deus Ex game, Invisible War, in just two days with it being just short of 26,000 copies. The positive reviews and the awesome trailers probably helped with that too.
According to Gfk Chart-Track, the Xbox 360 version sold 57%, the PS3 version sold 31% and the PC did 13%. This doesn’t include digital PC sales though.
Having just finished the game, I’m pretty happy to hear this news, as the game deserves it. Here’s hoping that there will be more Deus Ex games made because of this, and hats off to Eidos Montreal for making this game.
