Difficulty Hearing? Sony Has Your Back with Subtitle Glasses

I use to watch movies often with my grandma, unfortunately as time passed, her hearing has become subsequently worse. Apparently, Sony has something that might help! According to a report by BBC, one in six people have some difficulty in hearing. In UK Cinemas, films are shown with subtitles in the middle of the week, but often people cannot make it to those screenings.

Enter Sony. They have designed a pair of glasses which displays subtitles across their vision. Their guinea pig, Charlie Swinboure, said it feels seamless and could possibly open up the technology beyond the cinemas (Like helping people transcribe conversations).

At the moment, it is still in its experimental stage, but if the trials are successful we may see them stateside.
