‘The Wolverine’ to Begin Production Soon

Hugh Jackman has updates for the upcoming Wolverine sequel. After Darren Aronofsky’s departure, the movie will go ahead with new director, James Mangold, who has directed films like Walk the Line, 3:10 to Yuma, and Kate and Leopold (Hugh Jackman was in this one).

“It starts shooting in mid-October. You know James Mangold is directing it. You know it’s set in Japan. We have not really cast it yet, so there’s not a lot to tell you. Any other elements of the script I tell you, I’d have to kill ya.”

The screenplay used is the one by Christopher McQuarrie​ where Wolverine is set out to find himself in the land of the rising sun, Japan.
