New Call of Duty Black Ops DLC Is All Zombie Goodness

I could have sworn that Annihilation was the last DLC for Black Ops, but then again it was announced today that the new DLC Rezurrection will be available on the XBox 360 on August 23rd. Rezurrection will include all the previous Zombie DLC from World at War. Fans that picked up the Hardened and Prestige Edition of Black Ops will already have the maps, but the ones included in Rezurrection and will actually get the new zombie map Moon for free.

I remember there being a lot of people who didn’t get the Hardened or Prestige Edition, asking about when the zombie maps would be released for DLC. It was never really confirmed, but many were pretty sure that eventually it would be made available. It just seems really unnecessary to make these maps available now, because once Modern Warfare 3 hits, everyone will jump ship and it’s already hard enough to get in a zombie match now a days.

It’s definitely really cool that they’re giving the new map for free to those who got special editions.  Plus, Rezurrection also comes with an Extended Zombies Soundtrack and an Xbox Live Zombies Theme.

Rezurrection will be 1200 Microsoft Points and will be available on August 23rd on the Xbox. Of course, PlayStation players will have to wait one month.
