Video Roundup: Assassin’s Creed and Conan O’Brien CG Animation, Saints Row 3D Projection, and More

San Diego Comic-Con International 2011 has come and gone. The event had so many things happening that my brain feels like slushie now. Here are some trailers and videos that have been released so far while I was away.

First up is Assassin’s Creed Embers. It’s a new computer-generated animated short (20 minutes) that I’m looking forward to. This short expands on the final chapters of old Ezio as he fears that enemies will always be hunting him down while trying to have a family life.

It’s suggested by the Ubisoft crew that you watch this after the Assassin’s Creed Revelations game. It’s being developed by UbiWorkshop and will be available on November 15, 2011 with the Signature Edition at GameStop for pre-order, and on PSN and XBLA. And I thought Revelations was suppose to bring closure.

Below is the trailer for Conan O’Brien’s CG animated film, Flaming C.

During SDCC, Flaming C had his own exhibit at the San Diego Gaslamp district. I didn’t get to check it out, but was pretty surprised to see a whole exhibit inspired by Conan O’Brien’s alter ego.

Over at Petco Park, THQ showcased a very cool 3D projected show of Saints Row the Third. I didn’t get a chance to go, but it would’ve been cool to see it in person.

On a different note unrelated to SDCC, here’s one from comedy troupe Chicken Fried Comedy where a boyfriend is inspired by Pilotwings role play, a Nintendo flight arcade game. He tries to turn on the heat by turning on the Pilotwings game score.
