Listen to All of the Mucky, Bone-Crunching Sounds of Hunted: The Demon’s Forge

There’s a lot more to Hunted: The Demon’s Forge than graphics, co-op, and level-creation: there’s all of those squishy sounds when enemies are exploded into a raining pile of mush. Those sounds don’t make themselves, folks. Wait until the latter section when Jamey Scott, the audio director, starts imitating the “beefy” sounds of the game. He apparently used a combination of chocolate syrup, tomato paste, and corn syrup for the blood-splatter deaths. I can’t say it would taste great, but it sure makes for some great sound effects.

Hunted: The Demon’s Forge will be out on PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 on May 31st in the US, and June 3rd in Europe.
