Crysis 2’s Cheating and Hacking Not a Problem for Crytek?

Crytek’s Crysis 2 has been out and the PC version is very hacker friendly, which is why there are many hackers in the game. On the official Crytek forum, there was a thread discussing the anti-cheat issue, but it was quickly taken down. Why take it down? Why not discuss the issue and let the fans know that they are doing everything they can to fix it?

But the thread about the .pak extractor is still up on the forum, as it allows gamers to hack or cheat by decrypting, extracting, and then modifying the files. Apparently Crytek didn’t put in any anti-cheat features, not even hash checks. So yeah, just modify the file, and the server will allow you to enter without a problem.
