Studio Execs Empty Out Their Wallets for the Rights to a Voltron Live Action

Last year, we ran the story about how some concept artworks for a Live-Action Voltron was being shopped around to studios. According to Vulture, it seems Relativity Media is trying to close the deal with World Event Productions, the production studios that created the original 1980’s cartoon. Son of Voltron creators, Peter Keefe and Ted Koplar, confirms that there is a film and a new TV series in the works. The cartoon is scheduled to air on Nickelodeon and according to numerous resources, they plan to have the movie in theaters by 2013.

First ThunderCats, now Voltron. Am I the only one that wants to see a Duck Tales reboot?!
