Deus Ex: Human Revolution Release Date and Augmented Edition Details

Hot off the presses, Deus Ex: Human Revolution finally has a release date in this crowded year. You can expect it to be released on August 25th, 2011, though that is according to EB games in Australia.

The release date for Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be August 23rd, 25th, and 26th for the North American, Australian, and UK territories respectively.

For those of you who are planning on getting its Augmented Edition, you can expect to get a dvd that has a making-of feature, soundtrack, a motion comic, a trailer, and an animated storyboard. Even crazier is that the Augmented Edition nets you not only a bunch of in-game weapons, but a seemingly important exclusive mission in which you rescue Tracer Tong.

If you order the game at Gamestop, you can expect to get their exclusive “Explosive Mission Pack“, which includes an exclusive action-oriented mission, a grenade launcher, and a remote-detonated weapon:

Preordering at Best Buy, Amazon, or Walmart will get you the “Tactical Enhancement Pack“, which includes extra credits for augmentations and skills, a long-range sniper rifle, and a double-barrel shotgun:

Here are a few new screen shots for all to enjoy:

Sure seems like that cover system will come in handy

Almost looks like a screen shot from Bioshock, or Dead Space. Terrible surgeons in this game.

Speed dating in Deus Ex: Human Revolution. It's evolving RPGs as we know them.
