Can Homefront’s Multiplayer Sway You Away From Your Duty?

A new video of Homefront’s multiplayer is out, but does it seem a little too familiar? There are remote-controlled vehicles (including a flying one though), all of the feedback you get is in familiar green, there are air vehicles whose weapons you can temporarily take control of to bomb areas on the map…yeah, this is all very reminiscent of a certain Call of Duty series. Maybe you’ve heard of it?

In addition to that, there are some vehicles in the game. So, when I see this video of Homefront’s multiplayer, all I can think of is that this is a mash-up of the Call of Duty and Battlefield series. However, if it’s just like those other games, what’s the incentive to buy it? Is it because you’re basically getting the same game, but you have new maps to play in? Are you buying it for the North-Korean takeover Single-player experience? Maybe you think it’s the FPS dream game that mixes your two favorite games together. For those of you who are already planning on getting Homefront, I’d really like to hear what you have to say.
