Kill Bill in Its Entirety Hits the Big Screen

Back when Kill Bill was still in its production stages, Quentin Tarantino revealed that the film’s entire length was going to be over 4 hours long! With strong suggestion from both Bob and Harvey Weinstein, they convinced him to cut the movie into 2 films. Now for the first time, fans will get a chance to see the film in its original form plus some new added footage.  Kill Bill: The Whole Bloody Affair will run from March 27 to March 31 at The New Beverly Cinema. The 247-minute cut will feature a new 7-minute sequence added to Kill Bill Chapter 3: The Origin of O-Ren.

“I actually wrote a much longer script for the anime section during O-Ren’s revenge chapter. Remember the guy with the long hair that kills her father? It’s like, what happened to that dude? Well, I wrote it and it was the biggest, most elaborate thing I wrote — her taking him down.”

Part of me wants to see this but I really don’t want to sit through a 4 hour movie.

Tickets go on sale March 1st.
