The Guild’s Felicia Day and BioWare Together to Create New Dragon Age Web Series

Oh Felicia Day, how I love thee. You’ve blessed us geeks with your humor and beauty and graced us with your presence in The Guild, Legend of Neil, Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along-Blog, and in person when I interviewed you at the VGAs.

EA has announced that internet sensation Felicia Day of The Guild and BioWare are teaming up to create a new web-series called Dragon Age: Redemption, set during the time of Dragon Age II. Created by Felicia, the series is going to have six episodes and will premiere this summer.

Felicia Day will be having the world premiere on Wednesday, February 16 on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.

“I’m a huge Dragon Age fan, and I have been looking for a follow up project to ‘The Guild’ for quite some time,” said Day. “I was thrilled when the opportunity to work with BioWare materialized. Dragon Age: Redemption allows me to tell a fantasy story in a new way, using a universe I really love. It has been a dream working together.”

In the web-series, Felicia will play Tallis, an elven assassin hired by the Qunari to hunt down a rogue mage that wishes to wreak havoc throughout the world. She is joined by others with different beliefs and goals as they try to stop the mage.

Dragon Age II will be available in stores in North America on March 8, 2011 on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 console, PC and Mac
