From a tweet by Variety reporter David S. Cohen, Christopher Nolan is turning in his The Dark Knight Rises script to Warner Bros. Pictures today.

Chris Nolan told me his The Dark Knight Rises script is due Monday or he’s in big trouble. Big trouble? What can they do? Fire him?

I wonder how much power a director can have over a studio that pretty much needs his vision to be brought to life for his third Batman film? The man can do no wrong… so far.
