The Wolverine Starts Shoot in April: Expect Some Cool Samurai Action

Darren Aronofsky is and will be busy promoting Black Swan, a psychological thriller starring Natalie Portman. Once that’s all done, he’ll be shifting focus to The Wolverine and will start filming the movie in April.

“There’s all the samurai elements that are really exciting. I’m a big fan of Japanese movies, we’re going to try to have a good time.” Darren Aranofsky said that he’ll hire Japanese actors, but on whether he’ll have them speaking in Japanese or English, “It’s still under discussion, we’ll see what happens,” Darren Aronofsky said.

I love the samurai, and to see Wolverine slicing and dicing with the Japanese warriors would definitely be interesting. Let’s hope that Wolverine doesn’t make the samurai seem inferior, you know, with his healing abilities and claws.
