Playstation Phone Pics Unveiled
Engadget has revealed some pictures of the prototype for the new Sony Ericsson’s new PlayStation Phone. It appears to be a successor of the original PSP systems, and it will have Android 3.0 Gingerbread OS and a custom PlayStation Marketplace for buying and downloading games. The PlayStation Phone will have a 1GHz Qualcomm MSM8655 processor, 512MB of RAM, 1GB ROM and screen size between 3.7″ to 4.1″, multi-touch panel which will function as dual analog input, the digital stick and shoulder buttons. The device will support microSD cards instead of Memory Stick Pro Duo. Unconfirmed rumors also stated that there will be backside touch controls and the screen will be HD resolution. It is unclear if this is the PSP2 that is rumored to be in development or not, seeing how a lot of the hardware specification seems to align with the PSP2 rumors.
