Nerds With Projectors Create Awe-Inspiring Animation On Old Clock Tower

This is the 600-year-old clock tower in Prague that was transformed into an entirely new kind of art by nerds with two projectors. What can nerds do? A lot of cool stuff, apparently. This kind of art is called “video mapping”. In the video, the projections give the illusion that the bricks of the building fluctuate, that there is rain when there really isn’t, and all sorts of other cool visual effects. They’ve also incorporated sound to heighten the experience. It’s somewhat similar to regular animation, but the fact that it is projected on, and uses the architecture of the building makes it a little different, and worth watching. The video mappers’ site can be found here.
