Experience The Nightmare Before Christmas in 4D!

Disney has just announced that this year’s annual, The Nightmare Before Christmas, 2-week showing will be held at the El Capitan and will be in 4D. I recently had an uncle come back from Korea who told me about the theaters that offer 4D. It’s pretty much like what you may have experienced at Disneyland’s Honey I Shrunk The Audience. There’s fog, they shoot water at you, there’s wind, and Disney assures that there will be other surprises.

Former Oingo Boingo frontman and Jack Skellington, Danny Elfman, will make a special appearance on October 21st. He will open the show and introduce some bonus features from the upcoming Danny Elfman & Tim Burton 25th Anniversary Music Box.

The collectors item is full of the work that Elfman and Burton have done over the years. It includes 16 CDs, writers notes, a special DVD interview with Danny Elfman and Tim Burton, unreleased tracks, artwork, and much much more. There are only 1,000 Music Boxes available and they will run you $499.99! You think for 500 bucks they would have at least included the movies.

Tickets are still available for The Nightmare Before Christmas in 4D. You can purchase tickets at the El Capitan’s online box office. You can pre-order your Danny Elfman and Tim Burton Music Box at their official website, The boxset will be released December of this year.
