T-Mobile G2 with Google Phone Preview

Back in October of 2008, the T-Mobile Google G1 was released in the U.S. with the U.K. release following not too long after. The G1 was the grand daddy of all Android phones and the one of the few good smart phones for its time. Now T-Mobile is bringing us the G1’s successor in the T-Mobile G2 with Google.

The G2 runs the Android 2.2 OS on the Qualcomm Snapdragon MSM7230 processor, 521 MB of RAM and 4 GB of internal memory. It has a 3.7″ S-TFT WVGA screen and 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and autofocus that is capable of 720p HD video capturing. The G2 has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard that uses a unique Z-hinge design style, comes with an 8 GB SD card; which can be expanded to 32 GB of Memory; and runs on 4G data.

If you’re a fan of T-Mobile’s G1 then you might want to swing by T-Mobile’s site and check out the rest of its specs. The phone is also currently available for pre-order through T-Mobile’s site and T-Mobile retail stores.
