Marvel Is Taking Over the World with Avengers Assembling

Phase one of world domination is in effect for Marvel. Marvel has announced that the branding of “Avengers Assemble” will be taking effect soon, late spring, to help advertise Thor, Captain America, and the Avengers.

“You’re going to see ‘Avengers Assemble’ logos and icons take more prominent positions,” said Paul Gitter, president-consumer products for Marvel Entertainment. “On a lot of the packaging you’re going to see everywhere, Marvel does tie back into ‘The Avengers,’ and the umbrella platform we have set up.”

Before the marketing blitz is going to take effect for The Avengers, Marvel has to make sure that the Thor and Captain America movies are going to be a huge success.

Avengers Assemble will be marketed through companies like Hasbo, Crayola, Maisto, Brown Shoes, Fruit of the Loom, Kids Headquarters, AME, and Jem Sportswear.

The Avengers will be coming to theaters on May 4, 2012, while Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger will be coming out on May 6, 2011 and July 22, 2011 respectively.
