George Lucas Makes a Guest Apperance in Clone Wars

The ruler of the Star Wars muti-billion dollar empire will make a guest appearance in this Friday’s episode of The Clone Wars. The all around Sith Lord of the Star Wars Universe will reprise his role that actually appeared in the last film, Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith.

“My appearance in ‘Episode III’ was just for fun. Mostly, I did it for my kids. I was wrapping the series, and I’d never been on-screen in a ‘Star Wars’ film, even though I’d been making them for decades. With ‘The Clone Wars,’ I get the best of both worlds, because I get a starring role but don’t have to do any acting or wear any blue make-up.”

George Lucas will play Papanoida, a Pantoran Chairman whose family has been kidnapped., but with the aid of Ahsoka Tano and Senator Riyo Chuchi, he aims to rescue his family.

The Clone Wars airs 9 pm ET/PT on Cartoon Network.
