Ryan Reynolds as Deadpool and R.I.P.D: To Be or Not To Be

Ryan Reynolds is all over the place these days. With the release of his thriller Buried not far away, next year’s Green Lantern, current start-up project The Change-Up, and with eyes already on producing Green Lantern 2, where will Reynolds fit his half a dozen upcoming movie projects?! I know we all want to see him relive the role of Deadpool that was witnessed in Wolverine: X-Men Origins, but at the same time he would make due for a perfect R.I.P.D. All this is confirmed on IMDB but why “To be or not to be”. See what Reynolds had to say for himself after the jump!

“People sort of ask this question, like I have any say in the matter. They’re both movies I’m interested in, they’re both movies that are in fast-track development. But I never say I’m doing a movie until I break for lunch the first day. Because it’s such a crapshoot, this industry. Everything’s so fickle and so contingent on so many factors, aside from just an actor. And because it has an actor, and because these films have interested directors, it’s obviously likely that they’ll both get made. But I think it would be more likely that only one of them gets made with me.”

The last thing we want to see is Ryan Reynolds pulled in so many different directions. On top of the film industry being as he says it is, Reynolds is keeping true to his quality acting potential. We will have to wait a couple months/years to truly find out what will happen.
