Valve Brings Us “The Sacrifice” for Left 4 Dead

Valve has just released part one of their four part  free online Left 4 Dead comic called “The Sacrifice.” It’s meant to be a sort of precursor to the upcoming DLC for Left 4 Dead 2. The story follows Francis, Bill, Zoey and Louis from the original Left 4 Dead and chronicles their story after they were rescued by the military. Part 2 will be released on September 21st, part 3 on September 28th and part 4 on October 5th, which is the same day the DLC gets released.

What’s interesting is that in the DLC for the original Left 4 Dead called “The Passing”, the survivors met up with the survivors from Left 4 Dead 2. But when they met  up, there was one character missing from the original survivors. “The Sacrifice” takes you through that time period and players will finally get a chance to see what events took place.
