Don’t mind that “coming soon” image above, since it looks like Netflix decided not to split and will be abandoning Qwikster. They heard the people’s outcry and decided against it. Netflix spokesman Steve Swasey said, “We underestimated the appeal of the single web site and a single service.”

Netflix DVD by Mail to Become Qwikster and Adds Video Games

Netflix has been receiving a lot of flack for increasing the price for the DVD/Streaming plan. If you still wanted the low price for streaming, you had to ditch the DVD-by-mail plan and vice versa. Now, the DVD service will be called Qwikster and will have video games included.
