Shenmue 3: Earn Money (Yuan) Faster with This Exploit

In the year 1999, Yu Suzuki created one of the most iconic action-adventure video games of all time for the Sega Dreamcast, Shenmue. In Shenmue, you assume the role of Ryo Hazuki, a young, skilled martial artist who vows to track down his father’s killer and take his vengeance with an iron fist. A story that is rich with cultural undertones and cinema-style cutscenes that can only be found in the most traditional of king fu films. Along the way, you journey to many different, exotic locations in Yokosuka, Japan, gaining new abilities and accessories that you can incorporate into the games extremely addictive combat system. Deemed a major success, Shenmue quickly soared to the top of the Dreamcast’s short-lived titles and spawned a sequel two years later in 2001 that immediately became a cult classic.

Shenmue 3 (See it on Amazon) is an installment that took 18 years to come to fruition, but it is safe to say that it was received with open arms and smiling faces. Fans simply could not wait any longer to fill the shoes of Ryo Hazuki one more time. In Shenmue 3, the world is quite intimidating in many senses. One of the most critical components of the game is making sure you don’t go broke, so there are several ways to accrue cash (yuan) including chopping wood, gambling and selling loot that you find during your travels ranging from jewelry to skill books that can be created with various books.

One particular skill book can be sold as many times as you want in Niaowu, and to get the skill book, you’ll need to collect 4 books. These books can be bought from merchants as many times as you want and pieced together to then be sold for profit.

The Reverse Heel Skill Book Exchange

The final step lies at a pawn shop where you will exchange the books for the skill book called ”Reverse Heel.” These ”Reverse Heel” skill books can be made and sold as many times as you want. This method, while time-consuming, can be utilized to manipulate a bottomless well of cold hard cash, making your ascension much faster and less stressful.

Mistakes in games like this one are usually fixed as quickly as they are discovered so make haste if you plan on taking advantage of the never-ending cash well before it is corrected with the next available patch.
