Season 4 of The Cyanide and Happiness Show premieres today on VRV

Cyanide and Happiness, the hit webcomic that’s known for its crass and dark humor, has grown a large following that includes 9.8 million subscribers on YouTube. Starting today, the fourth season of the “Cyanide and Happiness Show” will premiere on the streaming platform VRV.

The newest season will be the host to several special guests that will include Justin Roiland (Rick & Morty), Arin Hanson (Egoraptor), and Brendan Blaber (JelloApocalypse), and many others. Season four takes us to a post-apocalyptic Earth that is currently dominated by insects. A sentient cockroach stumbles upon some old forgotten VHS tapes of the show, which brings forth the craziest season yet.

“This is our favorite season yet. We’re telling a lot of new stories about familiar characters like Lunk and the Buttshark, and there’s a few completely insane episodes that we’ve been developing for years and can now finally share with the world,” said Rob DenBleyker, Explosm Entertainment.

“Fans are absolutely going to love this new season of ‘The Cyanide & Happiness Show. We’re bringing back everyone’s favorite characters from previous seasons, adding in some new ones, and dialing it all up to 1000!” said Hillary Levi, Creative Executive, Crunchyroll, and VRV.

The Cyanide and Happiness show is produced by Explosm Entertainment and Studio71, a globally recognized media company that specializes in developing, producing, and distributing short-form and original content across multiple platforms. Studio71 is a Red Arrow Studios company with headquarters in Los Angeles.

Season four of The Cyanide and Happiness Show is available to stream today. It will run for 10 episodes, with new episodes available every Wednesday.
