In its long history of automobiles, nothing is more iconic to Chevrolet than the Corvette. This historic sports car defined what American muscle cars are, and what they can be. For 2020, Chevrolet has revealed its latest version of the Corvette, that combines both modern-day technology with pure classic power.

The new Corvette will feature a brand-new mid-engine, something that has never been seen in the long history of the automobile. This redesigned sports car will boast an all-new 6.2L LT2 V8 engine that will deliver 495 horsepower and 470lbs of foot torque, making this the most powerful Stingray ever produced. Standard dual-clutch transmission will offer lightning-quick shifts that give the car the best of both worlds. The smoothness of an automatic with the action of a manual.

When looking at the Corvette 2020, you can see that Chevrolet integrated the design of their past models with the touch of foreign sports cars. The outside brings in strong definitive lines that highlight the cars sense of aerodynamics, while door handles and hood latches are hidden to give a clean and streamlined look. The mid-engine can be seen through a rear hatch window, and for Corvette enthusiasts, Chevrolet will give you the opportunity to customize your own 2020 Corvette with its configurator, giving you full control of the colors, wheels, and even accessories.

The interior leaps you into the future with a redesigned cockpit that highlights technology meshed with luxury. Standard in the 1LT and 2LT are GT1 seats finished in Mulan Leather that are designed to provide superior comfort and support even for the longest distances. For heightened luxury, available on the 2LT and standard on the 3LT models are GT2 seats that feature a carbon-fiber trim, a seatback halo, and will be wrapped in genuine Napa leather.
