Mob Psycho 100 II OVA to premiere at Crunchyroll Expo 2019

Crunchyroll has become a juggernaut in the anime world, becoming one of the most noticeable brands when it comes to this globally recognized art form and entertainment. Later this year, the anime streaming service will be holding its annual expo that takes place in San Jose, California. And even though it’s still a few months away, Crunchyroll has announced a special event that fans can look forward to.

During the event, Crunchyroll will premiere a Mob Psycho 100 II OVA titled, “Mob Psycho 100 II: The First Spirits and Such Company Trip ~A Journey that Mends the Heart and Heals the Soul.” This exclusive premiere will be held on September 1st with a panel held immediately after the screening. The event will feature special guests Yoshimichi Kameda (character designer), Yuzura Tachikawa (director), and Setsuo Ito (voice actor).

In “Mob Psycho 100 II: The First Spirits and Such Company Trip ~A Journey that Mends the Heart and Heals the Soul,” Mob, Reigen, Dimple, and Serizawa, a new member of the Spirits and Such Consultation Office staff, journey to a secluded hot spring called Ibogami Hot Springs located in the Zebra Prefecture. The Matron there has requested them to discover the truth behind the strange rumors that are happening around the inn. On the way to the hot springs, Reigen and Serizawa nod off on the train and find themselves sucked into an eerie parallel world.

For fans that are unable to attend the Crunchyroll Expo, a simulcast of the OVA will stream worldwide, excluding Asia, on Wednesday, September 25th on Crunchyroll. The event is a place where anime fans can come and celebrate Japanese animation, gaming, cosplay, and more. This year, Crunchyroll is amping up the interactiveness for the fans. There will be a shopping district, an extensive Artists’ Alley, Hime Café, and a Nightclub.

Crunchyroll Expo will take place on August 30th to September 1st in San Jose. You can purchase tickets here.
