Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys and Carnival Row coming to SDCC 2019

Carnival Row Amazon original series Orlando Bloom Cara Delevingne

Amazon Prime Video is going big this year at San Diego Comic-Con 2019, and it will be bringing out immersive activations for The Boys, Carnival Row, and The Expanse. There will also be live performances and experiences inspired by the shows along with exclusive parties. Amazon Prime Video’s panel will have an official fan premiere for The Boys with Karl Urban and Jack Quaid, Orlando Bloom and Cara Delevingne from Carnival Row, and the stars of The Expanse, Undone, The Man in The High Castle and more.

The Amazon Prime Video Experience will focus on new Amazon Original series The Boys and Carnival Row and the fourth season of The Expanse in a 60,000 square-foot activation located across the San Diego Convention Center. A 40-foot tower with giant LED screens will feature scenes from The Boys, Carnival Row and The Expanse. Live performances will take place at the multi-level tower, and fans can check out the experience starting on Thursday, July 18 through Sunday, July 21. It’ll be located on the corner of MLK and 1st.

Guests will get a collectible gold and silver coins upon entering the activation, and these can be used to explore the world inside. The Boys will have attendees covering up a crime scene involving a kidnapping of a superhero at the Audio Visual shop, Hughie’s workplace. The Expanse will have fans enter a Rocinante spaceship to embark on a United Nations peacekeeping mission as they discover a newly colonized planet. Carnival Row will have guests experience a world where humans and exotic creatures are living together, and they can visit The Forbidden Lounge, a neo-Victorian-inspired hideaway venue that includes a special performance.

Drinks and bites will be available including Carl’s Jr. Cosplayers can have their photos taken by a lifestyle photographer at the Cosplay Photography Corner.
