Turtle Beach announces latest products at E3

The Turtle Beach name is one of the most well-known companies in the video game industry. For years they’ve created gaming headsets for consoles and PCs, headsets that are beloved by gamers of all ages. During this year’s E3, Turtle Beach announced a new headset that will liven up the headset market.

The Recon Spark will be the latest addition to the Turtle Beach product line, which will give an added flair for gamers who are looking for something different. Based on their Recon line headsets, the Spark will debut in a White and Lavender colorway. A color combination that is not often seen in today’s market, unless gamers went for a more personalized headset. The Spark will feature the same flip-to-mute microphone and 40mm drivers that can be found in the Recon 70 headsets but will have a few added upgrades such as a lightweight design, metal-reinforced headband, and a glasses-friendly leatherette-wrapped memory foam ear cushions.

The Recon Spark will be available for PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC (with an included PC splitter cable), and mobile devices with a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Spark will retail for $49.95, which is perfect for gamers who are looking for a reliable headset without breaking the bank. The Recon Spark will be available late July in limited quantities.

Earlier this year Turtle Beach acquired Roccat, a manufacturer of PC gaming peripherals. At E3, Roccat showed off its latest computer mice products with the Kain series. There will be three models gamers can choose from in the Kain series, both wired and wireless versions. The Kain 100 AIMO, 120 AIMO, and 200 AIMO will each feature superior precision in speed and control, and a new click mechanism that is engineered to increase accuracy and responsiveness. Titan-Click which is a unification of innovative hardware and software will allow players to get a better, faster, and great-feeling click. This will come from the exclusive variant of Omron switches and software that can register the click-signal up to 16 milliseconds faster than any other mouse.

The Kain series will come in Ash Black and Arctic White and will retail for $49.99 for the Kain 100 Aimo, $69.99 for the 120 Aimo, and $99.99 for the wireless 200 Aimo. The Kain series is planned to release later this fall.
