Avengers: Endgame has been making a lot of money for Disney, especially when it made over $1 billion at the worldwide box office during the first week of release. As of now, the movie has made $2.303 billion, putting it at the number 2 spot for highest-grossing film of all time globally. With it being number 2, that means Titanic went from the number 2 spot to number 3. Titanic director James Cameron even congratulated Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige and the team for a job well done.

Cameron took it to Twitter to share a photo of the Avengers logo acting as an iceberg, causing the Titanic to sink.

It’s a class act, and with Fox now under Disney, that means Cameron’s Avatar sequels will be a part of the House of Mouse. Disney has already collaborated with Cameron before with Pandora – The World of Avatar in Disney World. This week Disney announced release dates for many of its films including the dates for the Avatar sequels. Avatar 2 is coming out on December 17, 2021; Avatar 3 on December 22, 2023; Avatar 4 on December 19, 2025; Avatar 4 on December 17, 2027.

Now we wait until Avengers: Endgame surpasses Avatar, which is currently the highest-grossing film of all time worldwide.

Synopsis: The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

It stars Robert Downey Jr as Iron Man, Chris Evans as Captain America, Chris Hemsworth as Thor, Scarlet Johansson as Black Widow, Mark Ruffalo as Hulk, Jeremy Renner as Hawkeye, Don Cheadle as War Machine, Karen Gillan as Nebula, Benedict Wong as Wong, and Tessa Thompson as Valkyrie.
