Women vote for Thor and men for Captain America for favorite Marvel hero in survey

Avengers: Endgame is coming to theaters this week, and it’s going to feature Marvel heroes like Captain America, Iron Man, Thor, Black Widow, Captain America, War Machine, Bruce Banner, Hawkeye and more as they try to take down Thanos… again. To celebrate the release of the film this week, a survey was conducted that asked people to vote for their favorite Marvel superheroes. The voters are able to choose multiple characters, and the two that came out on top are Iron Man and Captain America. As for the most popular character for women, it goes to Thor, and the men’s favorite is Captain America.

Rotten Tomatoes conducted a survey and rounded up over 650 Avengers fans to answer the call. 53% of fans voted for Tony Stark and Steve Rogers, with Thor coming in third place with 50%. The #1 vote for women is Thor, with Captain American being the top vote for men. As for the favorite standalone movie, that goes to Guardians of the Galaxy. And for the favorite villain, Loki beats out Thanos. Baby Groot dancing in Guardians of the Galaxy was the favorite end-credit scene.

Avengers: Endgame is going to be just a bit over three hours, and reportedly it’s going to have an end-credits scene that’s almost 5 minutes. The film has already been setting records like the best presales of all time.

Synopsis: The grave course of events set in motion by Thanos that wiped out half the universe and fractured the Avengers ranks compels the remaining Avengers to take one final stand in Marvel Studios’ grand conclusion to twenty-two films, “Avengers: Endgame.”

The film is directed by Anthony and Joe Russo from the screenplay by Christopher Markus & Stephen McFeely.

Avengers: Endgame hits theaters on April 26, 2019.
