The Losers Club comes together for ‘It: Chapter Two’ photo

One can easily say that last year’s most anticipated film was the horror reboot of It (or at least, that’s what I’m saying). The novel encapsulated everything that made a Stephen King novel so great (and not so great), and so giving it a proper film was beyond necessary. Not that the 1990 TV miniseries didn’t cut the cake, but sometimes you need to go a bit further for a Stephen King adaptation. This film scratched that itch, and now we’re in the beginning stages of seeing its sequel come about!

Today, the official It Movie Facebook page brought fans a beautiful image of what many have been trying to speculate for so long: the cast of grown versions of our young heroes! Check out the image below:

The image displays the incredible talent that will be a part of this film, including the likes of James McAvoy, Jessica Chastain, Jay Ryan, Bill Hader, Isaiah Mustafa, James Ransone and Andy Bean. The enigmatic Bill Skarsgård is set to reprise his role as Pennywise the Dancing Clown, as well as the child cast from the first film.

In the follow-up film,It: Chapter Two, 27 years after the events of the summer of 1989, the Losers’ Club have grown up and moved away, until a devastating phone call forces them to return to Derry, Maine when their ancient, shape-shifting nemesis It returns, fulfilling their childhood promise to reunite and destroy the creature once and for all, unaware that it has returned stronger than ever and has awaited their arrival, waiting to exact its wrathful vengeance upon them.

It: Chapter Two, directed by Andy Muschietti, is set to release the fear September 6, 2019.
