EVE Online’ ‘Into the Abyss’ expansion coming May

EVE Fanfest 2018 is happening this weekend in Reykjavik, Iceland, and Capsuleers have traveled to the Harpa center to experience the love of the MMO spaceship game, EVE Online. Developer CCP has revealed a new expansion called Into the Abyss, and it will introduce new enemies, gameplay, and visuals. It’ll be released in May 2018 and will be available for free for players playing for free and paying subscribers. What a way to celebrate the 15th anniversary of the game.

The Into the Abyss expansion will give players a new adventure with a new uncharted and hostile territory, Abyssal Deadspace, with rewards and new strange inhabitants called Triglavians occupying the space. You’ll be facing obstacles in order to come out with valuable cargo.

New mutaplasmids will only be available in Abyssal Deadspace and can be combined with other modules to create the Abyssal modules. This in turn can make them more powerful or render them useless. If you want to get the better reward, you’ll have to go deeper into Abyssal Deadspace. However, it’s best not to fail, or else you can end up dead.

Check out the trailer below for EVE Online’s 15th anniversary celebrating the game and its players.
