It has been announced this week that Insomniac Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment will be releasing Spider-Man for the PlayStation 4 on September 7, 2018. Soon fans will get to swing in the open world of New York City, save civilians and battle bad guys.

With Sony publishing the game, that didn’t stop some fans from asking if it’ll be coming out for the Xbox One.

While we’re at it, let’s ask if Sony would like to release Uncharted and Horizon Zero Dawn for the Xbox One as well. Or maybe we can ask Insomniac if they’ll release Sunset Overdrive to the PS4. (The latter is a game developed by Insomniac and published by Microsoft.)

Other fans chimed in after Insomniac’s response including a mic drop.

The studio also revealed the freedom they had on choosing a game to develop.

In addition, a pre-order announcement trailer has been released, and those who pre-order will get the Spider-Drone Gadget, PSN avatar and theme, 5 extra skill points, and bonus Spider-Punk suit along with two other mystery outfits (to be revealed later).

Spider-Man Collector’s Edition

The Spider-Man Collector’s Edition will be packed with goodies like the Spider-Man statue, mini artbook, custom steelbook, white spider sticker, and Spider-Man “The City that Never Sleeps” post-launch story chapters.
